BREW Builder Program

Hi everyone,

If you joined us at BREW in 2024 during the Berlin Blockchain Week, you already know this wasn’t meant to be a one-off.

This year we’re extending BREW into a Berlin-based builder program focused on privacy tech.

The right to privacy is quietly eroding in the systems we rely on every day. As digital infrastructures increasingly tie together identity, verification and data collection, we need tools that enable private movement, transactions and communication.

What’s Coming

From March 23 to mid-June, BREW will run as a three-month, local-first program around privacy in decentralised tech.

The structure is simple and intentional:

  • Bi-weekly expert sessions with people actively building and researching
  • A monthly in-person meetup in Berlin
  • A one-day conference hosted by BREW during Berlin Blockchain Week

The program aims to cover a range of privacy technologies and infrastructure, from zero-knowledge proofs, MPC and homomorphic encryption to confidential compute, data sovereignty, private networking and secure communication.

The program brings together a curated local community learning and experimenting with privacy technologies in decentralised and open systems.
